Kitchen triangles, the distance from pantry to cooking hob to prep counter, and the width of passages between kitchen island and cabinetry all affect daily functional efficiency in ways only simulation reveals.
Visibility Analysis (Isovist analysis) maps what can be seen from any point in the home. Applications include optimising television placement for clear sightlines from every sofa position, ensuring the home office desk is not visible from the entry corridor (privacy), enabling supervision of children’s play areas from the kitchen without line-of-sight obstructions, and confirming that key garden views are captured from the primary seating positions.
