Check Network Health Regularly
A healthy network is the foundation of a reliable Smart Home. Check the RSSI value of each device through its control app periodically, and look for new dead zones that may have appeared after adding furniture or interior walls.
If a device goes offline frequently without an obvious reason, it usually means the Wi-Fi signal in that area is too weak. Adding a Mesh node or a Wi-Fi 6E access point resolves this permanently.
Review Automations and Scenes Every Six Months
Family needs change over time. An automation set up last year may no longer match how the household actually lives today. Sitting down every six months to review Scenes and Automations keeps the system aligned with real behavior.

Clean and Physically Inspect Devices
mmWave sensors and EZVIZ cameras with heavy dust buildup can misread presence or produce blurry footage. Wipe these devices every two to three months, especially during Bangkok's high PM2.5 season.
For smart switches and plugs, check for abnormal heat near the device body — a sign of overloading or an electrical connection problem that needs attention.
