HappySmart deploys Frigate NVR on Home Assistant, processing all AI inference locally without sending footage to any brand cloud. All camera data stays on your home server. Intelligent LINE Notification System
When a Hikvision camera detects a person near the perimeter, Home Assistant captures the event, sends a LINE Notify message with a snapshot within 30 seconds, and escalates if there is no response within two minutes — sending a live camera link directly in LINE. If intrusion is confirmed, the system triggers an audible siren and contacts the HappySmart Emergency Contact automatically.
Alerts operate on three tiers: Yellow Alert (motion detected by camera), Orange Alert (AI confirms a human presence), and Red Alert (person approaching door or window). Each tier triggers a different response protocol, dramatically reducing notification fatigue for homeowners who previously received dozens of meaningless alerts per day.
Smart Lock and Access Control
The Yale Nextouch Smart Lock connects to Home Assistant via Z-Wave, supporting Keypad PIN, fingerprint, smartphone app, and automation-triggered unlocking. Temporary PINs can be created for housekeepers or technicians with automatic expiry at a set date and time — no need to change the primary PIN afterward.
An access history log records every entry event. Home Assistant Dashboard displays daily reports, and any door opening during unusual hours — such as 3 AM — triggers an immediate LINE alert.
