A comprehensive SmartInterior Dashboard aggregates data from four layers. Occupancy Data from presence sensors generates heat maps showing which rooms are occupied for how many hours per day and in which time windows. Comfort Data from temperature, humidity, and CO2 sensors identifies zones where air quality falls below healthy thresholds (CO2 above 1,000 ppm, humidity above 70%). Energy Data disaggregates electricity consumption by zone and device. Behavior Data from app interaction logs records how often occupants manually override automated settings—a reliable signal that the system has not yet learned their preferences correctly.
This four-layer dataset enables continuous design improvement. If the dashboard shows CO2 rising above 800 ppm in the study every afternoon, the ventilation system can be automatically programmed to increase airflow during those hours.
